I once was a bird’s house (USA)

I find the process of making felt magical.  The magic begins with simply soap, water, wool and agitation by my own two hands.  This magic formula will create a firm, precise and seamless work of art.  I am still in total awe of this medium and its versatility.  It energizes me and pushes me into constant and exciting challenges. I was inspired to make this felted teapot after failing to make a birdhouse.   I had miscalculated the amount of material and it was much too small. I took on the challenge and combined it with other objects that I had previously made and forgotten as well as never used.  The flowers were a brooch, the beads were on a necklace and it all inspired me to make this miniature teapot. – Wet Felted 18 T,19 L,10 D
