I once was a bird’s house (USA)

I find the process of making felt magical.  The magic begins with simply soap, water, wool and agitation by my own two hands.  This magic formula will create a firm, precise and seamless work of art.  I am still in total awe of this medium and its versatility.  It energizes me and pushes me into constant and exciting challenges.I was inspired to make this felted teapot after failing to make a birdhouse.   I had miscalculated the amount of material and it was much too small. I took on the challenge and combined it with other objects that I had previously made and forgotten as well as never used.  The flowers were a brooch, the beads were on a necklace and it all inspired me to make this miniature teapot. – Wet Felted 18 T,19 L,10 D
