Midsummer Garden (UK)

These are the photos that inspired ‘Midsummer Garden’. The piece that it is made from was torn and worn and I repaired it before painting it and collaging and overstitching. It was a worn-out piece of crewel work, but with some beautiful stitching that I wanted to enhance.
