Anne Kelly: Pacific Swift

Mixed media textile.Hand and machine embroidery, collage, mounted on canvas – ”Pacific Swift’ is a piece made using a mixture of treated paper and textiles. The paper was also distressed using fabric paint and then overstitched with a collage of pieces of paper and further vintage textiles. The Swift is a bird that migrates a long distance so also represents my travels between the UK and Australia.’ 20 x 20 x 2 cm
