Brooching the Subject #5

“Brooching the Subject #5” is an annual artistic celebration of adornment, decoration and practicality at Timeless Textiles Gallery.

This year 2021, coming out of uncertain times, we continue to  learn  that connectedness and innovation are some of our best qualities. 

This year’s “Brooching the Subject” exhibition/ competition brings together fibre artists whose imaginative and varied ideas reflect our hopes and thoughts for the future, celebrate the beauty of nature and  acclaim the human spirit.

Over 70 artistic brooch entries will astound, amaze, bedazzle and enchant. 

Kim Blunt, Curator, Maitland Regional Art Gallery will announce 1st, 2nd, 3rd and highly commended award on Thursday 29th April 6-8 pm .

An online “People’s choice” will give everyone the opportunity to see the wonderful brooches in “Brooching the Subject #5”, choose a personal favourite and vote for it.
