Mulumbinba

Various fabrics – cotton, silk, netting, organza, threads and Inktense pencils . Hand colouring, hand and machine stitching  – My inspiration for Inspiring women in stitch was the first inhabitants of the area known as Mulumbinba. (Place of the sea ferns)The Awabakal women who made their home in a pristine wilderness. I created my impression of how the landscape may have appeared before white settlement with the guardian looking over and the eagle flying 57 x 39 cm
