Framing a Friend

Embroidery – This artwork celebrates the personality of my dear friend Cath, who inspired those around her with her generous spirit and courage. Completing this artwork has allowed me to grieve for her in a constructive way. I have matched her colourful and dramatic approach to life by using embroidery techniques to illustrate her interests, talents and commitment to social justice. 71 x 57 (landscape)
