Woodland Alchemy: Nature Inspired Felt Vessels with Dawn Edwards

Course Overview

Step into a world where wool transforms into botanical wonder through the art of wet-felting. In this immersive wet-felting workshop, we will take our cues from the forest floor—where mossy rocks, seedpods, fungi, bark, and secret forest grottos intertwine in perfect harmony. Guided by the textures, colours, and forms of nature, come explore the making of vessels that feel as though they were grown rather than made.

Using a rich variety of techniques, we’ll experiment with building surface texture, layering natural hues, and incorporating botanical and sculptural elements that blur the boundary between the organic and the imagined.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced felt maker, this workshop offers a welcoming and supportive environment for all skill levels. Reserve your spot today and let your imagination soar amidst the wonders of the natural world.
