Gold lame tied with Miura shibori technique – The finished piece is 32 x 30 cm but was constructed from 10 metres of 1m width lame. Originally I intended to “melt” off the gold thread but after many months of hand tying, I decided to leave it in its tied up state. I love the sculptural shape and it creates an opportunity to see the work in other Miura pieces.
